Keystone State Championship 2025 Wrestling

The 2025 Keystone State Wrestling Championships will take place from March 13 to March 15, 2026, at the prestigious Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania. This event brings together the top youth wrestlers from across the Commonwealth, representing five regions and competing for the coveted title of Keystone State Champion

GENERAL INFORMATION

Arena Policies

  • Hats are NOT permitted on the arena floor
  • No noise makers, laser pointers, weapons, etc.
  • Approved bags will be searched
  • NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IS PERMITTED IN THE ARENA

Sportsmanship

Wrestlers, Coaches, Parents, and Spectators are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and be respectful of the athletes, families, coaches, staff, and officials.

You will be removed for unsportsmanlike conduct.

WRESTLER INFORMATION

Awards & Requirements

  • Medals awarded to top 8 wrestlers in all divisions
  • Bring copy of birth certificate for age challenges
  • Parents need photo ID with PA address for residency challenges

Weigh-In Procedures

  • Parents not permitted in weigh-in area
  • Detailed time schedule provided at weigh-ins
  • Report to arena 1 hour before scheduled start time

Staging Area

  • Located on lower level of the Arena
  • Only wrestlers and coaches permitted
  • 2 coaches per wrestler allowed on arena floor
  • Warm up mats available in staging area

Visit their booth at all Qualifiers and the State Tournament for championship merchandise.

EVENT SCHEDULE

March 12

  • Weigh-ins for Boys & Girls ages 11-12, 13-14, and 15-16

March 13

  • Boys & Girls Divisions 11-12, 13-14, & 15-16
  • Weigh-ins for 8U & 9-10 & 6U (4 PM - 7 PM)

March 14

  • Boys & Girls 9-10, 8U, & 6U
  • 14U & 16U Boys weigh-in (9:30 AM - 11 AM)

March 15

  • All 6U, 7-8, & 9-10
  • Wrestling begins at 8:30 AM
  • Finals

RULES & WEIGHTS

Weight Class Information

Detailed weight class information will be available closer to the event date. Please check back regularly for updates.

Weigh-In Procedures:
  • Wrestlers must make weight at official weigh-ins
  • No weight allowances will be given
  • Skin checks will be conducted
  • Proper wrestling attire required for weigh-ins
  • Wrestlers may weigh in as many times as needed within the scheduled weigh in time
